For machines with power steering. The Jay Parts Pitman is made of high-strength steel and provides double clamping with a higher bite on the splines. Increased strength with added gusset!

WHAT IS RESOLVED?
Steering play is 80% a worn Pitman. The models before 2013 were without clamping. Models from 2014+ provided with a clamp. The best way to check it is if someone moves the handlebars and you are watching (with a flashlight) just under the power steering the teeth. 1-2” play between Pitman and gearing is 2-3” play at the handlebar!

On models from 2009 - 2012 adjustments may be necessary to put steering lock in the pitman, holes are provided.
RECOMMENDATION
For installation, we also recommend checking the tie rod ends first and also changing them during play. (Tie Rod Ends) is the matching article number of the tie rod ends.
The installation by your specialist workshop is advisable and is recommended.
