This rack is made with a 3/16" Plate, and 14 Gauge cover. Almost 1/4 " thick, it is very strong.
This will mount up to the factory rack supports, using 4 bolts. Very easy to install.
Includes Pelican 1060 Case as shown in photos, that sits flush for securing coolers, and other large objects.
